Tonight’s performances (141 & 142) are dedicated to spinning-around, who is now beloved not just by me but by the entire company for the to-die-for butterscotch bars she sent us. At the top of the show I put the box in the ballet chorus dressing room, we ate through a layer, then I moved it to the green room and by the final scene there wasn’t a single bar left. Quite a few company members requested the recipe.
