Nothing Personal
Hi Ms. Zorica!
I miss you!
Love, Toni Marie
Tonight’s performance (131) is dedicated to Toni Marie, a student of mine from the school where I taught in Westchester County, NY. Nine years old, feet to die for, twiggy, limber legs, delicate fingers, face like a china doll, and most importantly an innate reverence for the work of the body that, be it the pointing of a toe, a small leap into the air, or the simple, musical gesture of a hand, fills the human frame with dignity beyond any of our years.
